January 2022 TBR

Happy New Year!!! Hope yours was well and you all stayed safe. I didn’t do much (watched Jenna & Hoda’s New Year’s Eve Special) and ate a ton (my SO made a ton of food).

What I didn’t do was read, though, and I do have a backlog of books that I am carrying over from November and December. I do plan on stepping up my reading this year and I am determined to read my backlog and most of my January’s TBR.

Saying that, here’s my list. Backlog first and then the books I have scheduled for January. Please let me know if you have read any of these!!

December backlog:

Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult

Girls Before Earls by Anna Bennett

January TBR

The Maid by Nita Prose

Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins

The Last House on the Street by Diane Chamberlain

How to Love Your Neighbor by Sophie Sullivan

Such a Pretty Smile by Kristi DeMeester

That’s it!! It’s a shortlist this month and I am hoping to read all of these and get a head start on February!!

I’ve read or am reading your January TBR minus one book. They were all at least good reads – The Maid is actually a favorite of mine. Hope you enjoy!

    1. Jolie says:

I am looking forward to reading it. We’re in quarantine right now (close contact for COVID…sigh) and I am planning on doing a lot of reading.

  2. The Maid looks really interesting, I can’t wait to see what you think. 😀

    1. Jolie says:

I can’t wait to read it!!

    2. indiefan20 says:

Indeed! I’m always curious about books that have MCs on the spectrum.

      1. Jolie says:

        Me too!!

      2. I had no idea the mc is on the spectrum. I hope the representation is handled well then. 🙂

  3. Carla says:

All the books on your January TBR except Such a Pretty Smile. I have already listened to Reckless Girls and The Last House on the Street. I am so looking forward to The Maid, it has such great reviews. I hope you enjoy all of these Jolie. Happy New Year!
